Family photos are the ones you look at most as the years go by: the hugs, the laughter and who you all were at this stage. An afternoon together, no rush, to keep a memory of everyone.

Parents and children, siblings, grandparents or the whole family: on the beach, in a park or at home. Any idea is welcome for a family photo session in Barcelona.
I'm Aitor and I do family photo sessions in Barcelona with Acurrucados. Rather than posing, I'll suggest you play, go for a walk and do what you'd do on any other day; I keep an eye on the light and the moments. It works better with children: once they forget about the camera, you get the photos that really show who you are.
How I work
What a family photo session is like

No posing
No lining up, no forced smiles. Games, races and hugs: the kids set the pace and I follow with the camera.

With whoever you like
Parents and children, siblings, grandparents, cousins or the family pet. Any idea is welcome.

The light
Outdoors I look for the last hour of the afternoon, when the light is soft and warm. At home I use the light from the windows, with no studio lights or flash.

What to wear
Comfortable clothes the kids can move and get messy in, ideally in plain, soft colours. Coordinated, but not all matching. We'll talk it through calmly before the session.
Where
Where we take family photos in Barcelona
I love doing sessions outdoors: the light, nature and colours go much further than in a studio, and the kids have room to run and play.
The Mini session takes place in Parc de la Ciutadella. With the Basic we can go to a park or a beach in the Barcelona metropolitan area, and with the Sin Prisas you choose the place.
If you prefer, the session can also take place in your home: with little ones, their bedroom and their toys make for beautiful photos.

How much does a family photo session cost?
Family sessions have the same prices as all the others. They all include the edited photos in full resolution in a private online gallery.
Mini

30 minutes and 25 edited photos. Outdoors, in Parc de la Ciutadella.
Basic

1 hour and 50 edited photos. At home or outdoors, in the Barcelona metropolitan area.
Sin Prisas (no rush)

BRUNO Y HUGO | EL CUMPLEAÑOS DE “LOS REPES”
Las fiestas de cumpleaños son siempre un momento increíble para fotografiar ya que, a parte de un recuerdo de por vida, suceden muchas cosas y los más peques están radiantes. En este caso era el cumple de "Los Repes" como les han bautizado sus padres. Hugo y Bruno, Bruno y Hugo un par de terremotos, que como os podréis imaginar por el apelativo de sus padres son gemelos. La idea de Sara, la madre de "Los Repes" era brutal, una fiesta de cumpleaños inspirada en Barrio Sésamo.

Esta es de esas sesiones que si no se te cae la baba, es que no tienes ojos en la cara. Alaia es un pequeño angelito que con una sola mirada te tiene comiendo de su mano. Como en muchas otras sesiones, en este caso el verde de la primavera sería el telón de fondo para esta sesión de fotos de familia en el campo.

Estos pequeños angelitos crecen tan rápido que muchas veces ni te das cuenta lo rápido que pasa el tiempo. Una de las ventajas de las sesiones de fotos en Barcelona es que el tiempo siempre es un aliado. Si a eso le sumamos tener la playa siempre disponible es el lugar perfecto para realizar una sesión de fotos infantil en la playa. En este caso el rincón elegido fue el icónico Pont del Petroli en Badalona.

Con los primeros avisos de nieve, nos pusimos las botas y nos fuimos en busca de un lugar donde hacer el primer muñeco de nieve del invierno. Una sesión de familia en la nieve muy divertida, donde como siempre los que mejor se lo pasan son los más pequeños porque es un día en que todo está "un poco" más permitido.

How many people can be in the session?
As many as you like: from parents and children to the whole family with grandparents and cousins. If there are lots of you, a longer session is best so there's time to photograph each group.
How much does a family photo session in Barcelona cost?
From €85. The Mini session costs €85 (30 minutes and 25 edited photos), the Basic €160 (1 hour and 50 photos) and the Sin Prisas €250 (about 2 hours and every photo from the session).
Where does the session take place?

What if my child doesn't want to have photos taken?

How and when do I get the photos?
About 2 weeks after the session you'll receive a private online gallery with all the photos already edited. From there you choose the ones included in your session and download them in full resolution.
What should we wear?
