Acurrucados newborn sessions are all about capturing moments, gestures and emotions. These sessions (from birth to 6 months) usually take place in your home. All you have to do is enjoy your baby; I'll take care of the rest.

How I work
What an at-home newborn session is like

No baskets or hats
No putting the baby in impossible poses. I photograph what happens: looks, gestures, little faces and a brand-new family.

At their pace
If the baby needs feeding, changing or settling, we stop. The session adapts to the baby, not the other way round.

Window light
I use the natural light in your home, with no studio lights or flash to bother the baby.

Your favourite corners
Their bedroom, your bed or the sofa where you spend your afternoons. Everyday places tell the story of this stage best.

Where we take newborn photos in Barcelona
In your home. With a baby just a few weeks old it's the most comfortable option: no travelling, everything to hand and the baby in familiar surroundings.
I come to your home in Barcelona and its metropolitan area with the Basic or Sin Prisas session. The Mini always takes place outdoors, in Parc de la Ciutadella.
From 6 months, once they can sit up, we can also head to a park, like in Lara's session.

How much does a newborn photo session cost?
Newborn sessions have the same prices as all the others. For an at-home session, choose the Basic or the Sin Prisas. They all include the edited photos in full resolution in a private online gallery.
Mini

30 minutes and 25 edited photos. Outdoors, in Parc de la Ciutadella.
Basic
€160
1 hour and 50 edited photos. At home or outdoors, in the Barcelona metropolitan area.
Sin Prisas (no rush)

About 2 hours and 120 to 150 edited photos. You choose the location and get every photo.

El se llama Mikel, ella Oihana y la pequeña, Jare. Hace ya mucho que dejé de hacer reportajes a recién nacidos.Me refiero a los que todo el mundo se imagina cuando dices "fotos de recién nacidos". El tema de colocarlos, hacer contorsiones con ellos para ponerlos con gorritos y pompones no me emocionaba mucho. Pero este tipo de reportajes si, estos si que me gustan. Las fotos de recién nacido en casa, intentar reflejar la realidad de una nueva familia que se está acostumbrando a ser tres, en sus rincones, con las miradas, sin pompones.

Hacer fotos a un bebe de 6 meses es una edad perfecta, ya que comienzan a mantenerse sentados por si solos y es posible alejarse de los brazos de los padres. Además es una edad donde tienen mil muecas y gestos que son una gozada retratar. Un momento perfecto para hacer fotos de familia.

When is the best time for newborn photos?
Between birth and 6 months. The first weeks are for capturing a brand-new family; around 6 months, once they sit up, come the little faces and gestures.
How much does a newborn session in Barcelona cost?
For an at-home session, the Basic costs €160 (1 hour and 50 edited photos) and the Sin Prisas €250 (about 2 hours and every photo from the session).
Do we need to prepare anything at home?
Nothing special. Your home doesn't need to look like a magazine: just open the curtains to let the light in and keep what the baby needs to hand. I'll take care of the rest.
What if the baby cries or gets hungry?
That's normal. We stop as often as needed to feed, change or settle them. The session goes at their pace.
Do you do photos with baskets, hats or posing?
No. My newborn sessions are lifestyle: no props or forced poses, just you and your baby at home.
How and when do I get the photos?
About 2 weeks after the session you'll receive a private online gallery with all the photos already edited. From there you choose the ones included in your session and download them in full resolution.
